Today was the first day of my oral surgery and I had fun.

"You're all by yourself for oral surgery?"
"Is it just you today?"
"Aw you're by yourself?"
"I heard you're the only 4th year this week."
"Don't you have a group?"
"Ah it's the only 4th year we have this week"
"Are you all alone?"
"That can't be right!"
"I emailed the coordinators and yeah, it really is just you today!"
"So they rostered you without a group correct?"
Mhm.
Just the way I like it.
